Maestro’s Classic 4th annual barber appreciation night

Appreciation (noun) recognition and enjoyment of the good qualities of someone or something is the description of the word appreciation but when putting it into its verbal state by showing that very same appreciation has gone above and beyond the term, when coming to the barber appreciation night hosted by maestro’s classic and the Philadelphia 76ers. It was a showing of love to all that serve the needs of others in the field of barbering. The day began at the Wells Fargo Center home of the 76ers where barbers were allowed to play a tournament of basketball on the very same court of the 76ers, barbers from all over the Tri-state area were in attendance giving it their all with only one team being victorious.

The games were followed by a meet and greet at Xfinity live Philadelphia, Pennsylvania giving barbers the opportunity to network with other barbers of the trade they would not normally get to network with. Kenny Duncan of Philadelphia Pennsylvania one of the nation’s top barbers stated “I started this event as a night to just celebrate my birthday and seeing it continue to grow into what it is today is truly an amazing step for the barbering community and I cannot wait to see where it goes” with Maestro’s Classic at the helm continuing to educate and being the premiere in beard care setting up a pop up barbershop in the entrance of the Wells Fargo center having barbers demonstrating haircuts and giving not only to the barbers in attendance but to the fans of the 76ers a jaw-dropping performance off the court in preparation for what was waiting for them all on the court. When speaking with Tim Johnson a fan in attendance about what was being on display he quickly responded “I knew barbers were talented it takes a lot to be behind the chair but to be considered artists is an understatement you all are amazing”

Before the games started some the barber maestro veterans who have served our country and now serve our country by giving haircuts were honored on the court, it was just another way to give thanks to these selfless heroes we call our brothers and with that we cannot say it enough and we at the line up barber magazine we thank you. The evening continued with barbers watching the game and enjoying themselves in a private suite, it gave barbers a place to unwind and be with their peers being under one roof with a common bond in a night showing appreciation for all their hard work and talent. we as barbers normally do not show much appreciation to other barbers at times but for one company and an NBA basketball organization to take the time to bridge the gaps and unify different genres, races and creeds of barbering and bring them together in an event of appreciation for the art of barbering is truly a heartfelt gesture that cannot go unnoticed.

We at the line up barber magazine have worked alongside maestro’s classic and continue to be a huge supporter of the movement, we are proud to have been a part of this momentous event and will continue to attend and bring you the very latest of what has set the staple in showing barbers the appreciation we so rightfully deserve. Maestro’s classic is undeniably good in showing barbers the love and appreciation for the craft they have helped grow with their constant education in beard care and everything that is maestro’s classic.

“To all barbers, we appreciate you”
