Manny montanez: #godblessedmyhands

In Lancaster county there’s so many great barbers that it’ll take a whole twenty four hours just to name them all. To me it can be easily called “the Mecca of barbering” and one barber stands out, and truly lives by his name “god blessed my hands.” Manny Montanez is a great talent and it was a honor and a privilege to spend the day with him, watching him in action and taking in his story of his come up.

God before anything has been a motto that was instilled in me at a very young age and it is implemented throughout my life. God has blessed me with it all, from my lovely wife, jesenia who has been my biggest support system and all that I am. We have been blessed with four amazing children my oldest, Avionne who perusing his own career in barbering, following in my footsteps until he will create his own and our other babies Denise, Elijah and Abigail. my driving force and fuel to keep going.

“I was 15 years old when I had a passion for the art of barbering I was so in tuned with it until the age of 22 when I knew it was time for me to take it seriously

I had a family and knew I needed a profession to where I knew my income wasn’t limited so I became a licensed barber the following year. I knew one day all this would pay off for me in the end, so with all my hard work it took me to where I knew God wanted me. I have been the proud owner of “His Reflection barbershop” in Elizabethtown, Pa for 8 years with being a 3 time award winning barber to a YouTube channel providing barber tutorials under “Godblessmyhandstv.” I’d say I live by name clearly because I feel that’s what’s been provided for me, blessings upon blessings.
