TRUE GIVING HAPPENS WHEN WE GIVE FROM OUR HEARTS.
There is no better exercise for the heart than reaching down and lifting others, in the world today giving to others without cameras, newspapers, or without any recognition just is not worth doing now of days. Some people in this world are just born to not only make their mark on the lives they touch, but they also create a legacy of inspiration for others to follow in the footsteps of those who are born with a giving heart.
I have witnessed those who walk amongst us willing to give without question, without hesitation, those who give, do so with love and care and with the utmost respect for those in need. The giving heart does not give in the name of charity nor does the giving heart give for pride, the giving heart is filled with hope and with that hope, it has the ability and blessings to share the ultimate gift, the gift of love, hope and happiness.
Salvatore Giannone owner of multiple Sal’s barbershop locations (Montgomery County, PA) along with many family members and friends alike have continued to give from the heart to those in need of a miracle here on earth.

Giving back to those in need is nothing new to Sal and his band of givers, Sal has been spreading his message of giving to others for many years, it has been one of Sal’s biggest vows to himself growing up in a life most children were never built for. Sal and his family overcame so much so seeing how rooted and grounded Sal is only cementing why giving back means so much.
Being homeless and spending a few Christmas’s in a jail cell being away from my family taught me the value of charity and giving to those in need. Teaching my children that giving to those who aren’t fortunate enough to have planned out meals for the week or know that this coming Christmas that the only wish they have is to have one present for them under the tree. “It is truly heartbreaking because I was that child at one point but the one thing my parents never did on Christmas was let my brothers and myself down” mentioned Sal when we asked about his memories of Christmas growing up, Sal also mentioned that because of his grandparents the memories of Christmas with his family will forever be remembered.
Sal has used his platform on social media to help others by posting for families in need. “I could use my platform to talk about meaningless subjects but using it to help others and get the help they need is the one way to make my voice be heard” Sal does not give for recognition nor does he do it for congratulatory reasons, Sal gives where it counts from the heart and it has inspired many people from those Sal has helped along the way, coming back with gift cards and gifts paying it forward from where they once used to be is truly the spirit of Christmas.
One of the most amazing facts of Sal’s giving heart is that he has helped give to thousands of families and yet most of them he has never had any encounters with, some of them never graced the doors of his barbershops but giving blindly to the families without stalling nor a questioned raised, Sal, has brought families together to help other families playing the elf sometimes allowing others to play Santa Clause.
“I don’t give because I feel Christmas should be this materialistic type of holiday but to spread a message of giving and hope, so by me and my friends and family helping to spread that message of togetherness and love is just one of my reasons for Christmas.
“I am blessed to give what I can with my whole heart and blessed to have many important people giving alongside me and family is a sign that together we can make magic on Christmas and together we will bring a smile to a child’s face and a sense of relief to a parent or parents not knowing how they were going to create a miracle on Christmas morning.
