Angela Sciumbata “I ALWAYS KNEW”

“AN ESSENTIAL ASPECT OF CREATIVITY IS NOT BEING AFRAID TO FAIL.”

In every little girl’s life there will come a day filled with dreams, wishes and fantasies, for some it is a fairy tale life and for others it is a life that has a road paved for themselves filled with aspirations and drive. In the case of Angela Sciumbata at the earliest of ages Angela knew from providing services to a childhood novelty which helped Angela find her way into an industry starving for this talented artist.

“BEAUTY IS A LIGHT IN THE HEART.”

My dream started like most girls, I was playing with my Barbie doll giving her all the latest hairstyles I only knew about and then putting makeup on Barbie. Barbie was my very first client that I knew was always going to look amazing when I was finished. Every time I would pick my Barbie up and play I knew that I was destined to be a hairstylist, why wait for your calling to call when you can make the phone call yourself.

Doing someone’s hair has opened up so many emotions for me seeing how much it can effect someone’s life and self- esteem it can really brighten someone’s day when they are feeling at their worst. Helping boost up their confidence while being creative in an industry that is totally surrounded by beauty, it is truly thrilling to see how styles evolve. It just makes my day knowing that this business is only getting bigger and better, being a part of it tells me I made the right choice in my life.

14 years in this industry and getting praise and compliments from my clients has been the fuel to keep me motivated, without that feeling of accomplishment doing what I am doing would feel so empty.

One of my most admired artist is Mustafa Avci , his color creations and up-styling has been a constant inspiration to my style.

“If you do everything with passion and heart you will achieve all that you do”

I do this for myself, my little girl, those that love me and those that love to doubt me. At the end of the day my career fills me up even after a long stressful day, some of us were made for this and that’s why not everyone can do what we do in this industry.
